Morning:
Depart from Dehradun early in the morning (around 6:00 AM) via bus or private vehicle. Direct buses to Sankri are available from the bus station near the railway station, typically departing between 7 AM and 8 AM.
Route:
The journey will take you through scenic routes, passing through Mussoorie, Mori, and Naitwar. Enjoy views of the Yamuna and Tons rivers along the way.
Afternoon:
Arrive in Sankri by late afternoon. This quaint village serves as the base for your trek. Check into your accommodation—options range from guesthouses to homestays.
Evening:
Explore Sankri, enjoy a local meal, and acclimatize to the altitude (6,400 feet). Take a leisurely stroll around the village and prepare for the trek ahead.

Tour Itinerary
Distance: 5 kilometers
Trek Duration: Approximately 4-5 hours
Morning:
After breakfast, start your trek towards Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by pine forests.
Route:
The trail ascends gradually through dense forests filled with oak and pine trees. You will cross several streams and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Afternoon:
Arrive at Juda Ka Talab by noon. Set up camp near the lake, which is a great spot for photography and relaxation.
Evening:
Enjoy dinner at the campsite and spend the night under the stars.

Trek Duration: About 2.5-3 hours
Morning:
After breakfast, continue your ascent towards Kedarkantha Base Camp.
Route:
The trail involves a moderate climb with stunning views of snow-capped peaks. The base camp is at an altitude of around 10,500 feet.
Afternoon:
Arrive at the base camp by midday. Settle in, rest, and acclimatize to the higher altitude.
Evening:
Enjoy dinner at camp and prepare for an early start the next day for the summit ascent.
Distance: Approximately 6 kilometers round trip
Trek Duration: About 7 hours total (up and down)
Early Morning:
Start your ascent to Kedarkantha Peak around 4 AM to catch the sunrise from the summit.
Route:
The trek involves steep climbs but rewards you with panoramic views of major peaks like Swargarohini and Bandarpoonch from the top (12,500 feet).
Mid-Morning:
Spend some time at the summit enjoying the breathtaking views before beginning your descent back to Kedarkantha Base Camp.
Afternoon:
Return to base camp for lunch and rest before packing up for your journey back down.

Morning:
After breakfast, begin your descent back towards Sankri via Hargaon campsite.

Arrive back in Sankri by early afternoon. Check into your accommodation and relax after the trek.

Retrace your steps back through the scenic roads of Uttarakhand.
Afternoon/Evening:
Arrive back in Dehradun by evening. This marks the end of your Kedarkantha trek adventure.
Costs
The Cost Includes
- All days of the expedition include lodging (from Sankari to Sankri).
- On certain days, you will stay in a guesthouse, while on others, you will sleep in tents.
- Transportation costs from Dehradun to Sankari and again from Sankari to Dehradun
- All meals are provided from breakfast on Day 1 to dinner at Sankari on Day 6. Meals are straightforward, healthy, and vegetarian.
- If you need it, we will provide all hiking equipment, such as a sleeping bag, cooking and dining tent, utensils, a mattress, a tent, a toilet tent, and crampons.
- First-aid medical equipment, an oxygen cylinder, and a stretcher are all available.
- All required forest access fees and permissions.
- Your walk will be conducted by educated, experienced professional guides and trek leaders with strong guiding backgrounds, specific nature and trekking expertise, medical certificates, and an enthusiasm for leading people into spectacular terrain.
The Cost Excludes
- Personal expenses of any kind are prohibited.
- The trek cost does not include meals purchased on the first and last days of the route. Food is served from supper at the base camp on the first day to breakfast on the last day.
- Mules or porter fees to transport private luggage (offloading) Bag charges are Rs. 500 per day, per bag. It should be noted that the bag’s weight should not exceed 11 kg.
- Any type of emergency evacuation fee.
